soccer teams from the metro area gathered to compete on the field, Janice Carroll, Souksavanh and Lathdavanh Phimmachanh, Joeny P., volunteers from LAO America passed out QuitPlan promotional items and literature to spectators. LAO America also had an information table where people could learn about the dangers of tobacco and second hand smoke. The Minnesota Partnership for Action Against Tobacco (MPAAT) sponsored the cost of the tournament with a grant of $1,250. Thanks to Ellie Watkins of MPAAT who provided valuable support for this event.
