Lao elders are isolated in their homes for a number of reasons. Mental health issues can make it difficult for them to make good decisions related to their health and weebeing. A lack of transportation and limited English skills, make it difficult to get around, which contribute to isolation.

With the generous financial support from Metropolitan Area Agency (MAAA), LAO America is able to provide services that meet the needs of Lao elders.
